The short answer: It’s easy and doesn’t cost you anything additional! Who doesn’t want to push the easy button and have things done for them?! That is essentially what you are doing when you have a travel agent book your trip.
And the best part is it is INCLUDED! I know it sounds too good to be true, but it is. If you decide to book directly through Disney, Universal, Sandals or any other cruise line, then it will cost you exactly the same. So why not make it easier on yourself and have someone else do the leg work for you.
Vacations at Disney are not the same as it was in years past. There was a time when you could just show up the morning of and have just as great of a vacation as one you spent weeks months of thought and planning. That is not the case anymore. Dining reservations are STRONGLY recommended and made 60 days prior to arrival (to be exact, made at 6am 60 days prior… no joke). Disney is constantly updating things and constantly changing, so having someone dedicated to planning your trip and who is up-to-date with everything about Disney will make everything run much smoother.
