Egg-stravaganza at Epcot Flower and Garden Festival

One of the kid’s favorite activities during the Flower and Garden Festival is the Egg-stravaganza.  What is this?  It is an egg hunt around the World Showcase in Epcot.  This is just as much fun for the adults as the kids.  The maps can be purchased at several different locations and cost $5.99 + tax.  There is a hidden egg in each country, so it makes the kids’ journey (and the adults’ journey) around the showcase even more enjoyable.  Once you find the egg, you put the character sticker on the correct location.  When you finish, you take your map to a redemption location and get a prize.

This year the Egg-stravagaza will run from March 16 through April 1, 2018.

Tips and secrets —

  • If you want to go ahead and collect the prize before the hunt, a Cast Member can stamp the back of the map as soon as you purchase and let you choose your prize.
  • Eggs can be located inside stores, on top of buildings, etc.  For the most part, the eggs are not going to be in a place where someone could touch it.
  • If you have more than one child, you might want to purchase a map for each.  Each map purchase/completed = a prize.  Historically, there have been 6 different prize choices, so each child could get a different character.

Happy hunting!
